This program provides an innovate healthy-eating program developed by teachers, registered dietitians and students to bring healthy eating and fun physical activity into your classroom or home! The program encourages the development of healthy eating AND physical activity habits by providing students with the opportunity to explore the personal benefits of eating healthy foods and being physically active everyday for a healthy body. This program is designed to easily integrate healthy eating into other learning and curriculum areas, especially English, Language Arts, and Mathematics. Scroll through this page to see how this program can be integrated into the classroom!
Each lesson is formatted as a mission. The students look for this envelope in the room. It is used as a trigger at the start of each lesson. The concept is finished when we revisit the mission card and solve the riddle.

The students created superhero names so they could relate themselves to Coco Lait and Broccoli (The two healthy superheros in this program). By super gluing a clothes pin to the back of the laminated name tags, the students can wear their name tags every time health class starts. This is a small step that can go a long way for motivation and engagement.
